This special collection of outdoor products are named for customer service manager Carol Rose Burtz, who has been with Empire for more than 60 years. As the first time we have named a product for an employee, this represents an appropriate honor recognizing Carol’s exceptional history with the company.

Our Carol Rose Coastal Collection includes outdoor fireplaces, fireboxes that let you create your own system with a traditional log set and burner or a contemporary burner, and fire pits with optional multi-color LED lighting in two sizes. With so many choices you are sure to find a fireplace that adds a perfect glow to your outdoor lifestyle!

Warranty: Empire Carol Rose

Empire Comfort Systems Inc. provides a Limited Lifetime Parts Warranty for the combustion chamber and heat exchanger, including five years of covered labor. All other components have a five-year parts and labor warranty. Smaller items like remote controls, thermostats, and accessories have a one-year parts-only warranty. To be valid, the hearth product must be installed by a qualified technician and maintained properly by the original purchaser. The warranty does not cover damages from misuse, improper installation, or lack of maintenance, nor does it cover travel or shipping costs. To start a claim, you must contact your installing dealer with proof of purchase.

Outdoor Fire Pits

LED-equipped systems require sufficient clear or translucent crushed glass to cover the burner and lighting system. Additional colors and shapes may be added as accents. Non-LED systems may use any color crushed glass. See installation manual for glass placement details.

Even with no fire burning, your fire pit can chase away the darkness thanks to its built-in dual-strip multi-color LED lighting system mounted below the burner. Two intuitive buttons let you control the LED color and intensity. Or, set it to automatically cycle through all seven colors – at slow or moderate speed.

With all visible surfaces made from 11-gauge marine-grade 316 stainless steel, our fire pits are built to withstand exposure to harsh environments. Rainwater flows through the fire pit onto the ground or into the available drain tray, which routes the water away. Both the valve and lighting system are designed for years of outdoor use.

Stainless steel construction, an integrated LED lighting system, and a 55,000 BTUs burner ensure that Empire’s 48-inch Outdoor Linear Fireplace will light up your patio for any occasion. Or choose the 60-inch with 65,000 BTUs burner.

The Harmony Stainless Steel Burner paired with the Wildwood Refractory Log Set creates a fire that feels authentic, natural, and warm. With up to 50,000 BTUs of output, these burners provide the performance of a wood fire without the maintenance. Available in both natural gas and propane, and offered with Millivolt or IP technology, they give homeowners complete flexibility while ensuring steady, reliable flames.

For modern outdoor spaces, the Loft Stainless Steel Burner introduces a sleek, linear flame design with up to 40,000 BTUs of heat. Crafted in stainless steel and designed exclusively for outdoor use, this system complements contemporary patios, rooftop lounges, and modern poolside environments.
