Description

The Bromic Affinity Smart-Heat Dimmer Controller (1 Channel) lets you set exactly how much heat a zone of Bromic electric heaters puts out, in 1% steps from the Bromic Heating app. It works with Platinum Electric, Tungsten Electric and Cobalt Electric heaters. It is not compatible with gas heaters; for gas, use the Affinity On/Off Controller.

App Control
Built-in 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connect the controller to the Bromic Heating app, with dimming, scenes, timers, schedules, Amazon Alexa and Google Home compatibility, and multi-site management. For a wired connection or building automation, add the Affinity Smart-Heat Expansion Board (BH3130070) for Ethernet and 0-10V BMS control.

Capacity and Installation
The channel controls up to 6kW of electric heaters on a 208 to 277V circuit. The IP54-rated enclosure is suitable for covered outdoor locations, and installation must be completed by a licensed electrician.

The Bromic Heating Limited Warranty is applicable only to the original owner and is restricted to the replacement of the heater or a failed component part. Coverage periods vary by product, with most heaters and controllers covered for one year of parts, while the Platinum Electric Marine unit has a five-year parts warranty (for land-based applications only). Crucially, the owner is responsible for all labor, service, removal, re-installation, and shipping costs associated with the warranty claim.
