The Bromic Heat Deflector for Tungsten Smart-Heat 500-Series Gas Heaters protects the mounting surface above your heater from radiant heat. Bromic recommends a heat deflector whenever there is less than 42 inches above the heater or the heater is exposed to the elements.

Protection, Weather Resistance and Directional Heat
Beyond shielding ceilings and walls in low-clearance installations, the deflector improves the heater's weather resistance and helps direct heat output down toward your seating area.

The Bromic Heating Limited Warranty is applicable only to the original owner and is restricted to the replacement of the heater or a failed component part. Coverage periods vary by product, with most heaters and controllers covered for one year of parts, while the Platinum Electric Marine unit has a five-year parts warranty (for land-based applications only). Crucially, the owner is responsible for all labor, service, removal, re-installation, and shipping costs associated with the warranty claim.
