Description

The Bromic Smart-Heat Gas Ceiling Pole Mount suspends a Bromic Platinum or Tungsten Smart-Heat gas heater from the ceiling at the optimum height of 8 to 9 feet from the floor, so it delivers the most effective heat. It is available in six lengths to suit a wide range of ceiling heights, and each pole includes the ceiling bracket.

Choosing the Right Length
Add the pole length to the heater and bracket height (16.6 inches), then subtract that total from the floor-to-ceiling (or beam) height where the pole will be mounted. The result is the distance from the bottom of the heater to the floor, which Bromic recommends keeping between 8 and 9 feet. Always follow the clearances in the heater's installation manual. Installation Notes
Ceiling poles must hang straight down and cannot be mounted at an angle. The adjustment at the mounting point is designed only to accommodate pitched ceilings so the pole can still drop 100% vertically. Installation must be completed by a licensed technician in accordance with local building codes.

Warranty: Bromic

The Bromic Heating Limited Warranty is applicable only to the original owner and is restricted to the replacement of the heater or a failed component part. Coverage periods vary by product, with most heaters and controllers covered for one year of parts, while the Platinum Electric Marine unit has a five-year parts warranty (for land-based applications only). Crucially, the owner is responsible for all labor, service, removal, re-installation, and shipping costs associated with the warranty claim.
