Description

The Bromic Tungsten Smart-Heat Portable Freestanding Gas Heater brings Bromic's directional infrared heat to a movable, award-winning design. Up to three times more efficient than traditional mushroom heaters, it delivers 38,500 BTU of radiant warmth across up to 215 square feet, roughly twice the area of a standard mushroom heater, and is designed for use in winds of up to 8 mph. Available in propane and natural gas.

Directional Heat Where You Want It
High-intensity ceramic burners deliver infrared heat with minimal heat loss, and the adjustable tilting head lets you aim warmth at your seating area instead of heating the air above it. The matte black, contoured design adds a modern look to residential patios and commercial terraces alike.

Easy to Move and Store
Built-in wheels and an anti-tilt structural design make the heater easy to reposition, even in tight spaces, and the modular construction allows simple assembly, dismantling and storage.

Fuel and Operation
The propane model runs up to 8 hours on a single 20 lb tank (tank not included) and its output can be adjusted from high to low with the control knob on the back. The natural gas model ships with a 10 ft quick-connect gas line and operates on high only. As a gas appliance, it requires adequate ventilation; it can be used under a covered patio when the area is well ventilated and the 121-inch minimum floor clearance is met. A cover is not included; we recommend the Bromic Tungsten Freestanding Cover for protection when not in use.

The Bromic Heating Limited Warranty is applicable only to the original owner and is restricted to the replacement of the heater or a failed component part. Coverage periods vary by product, with most heaters and controllers covered for one year of parts, while the Platinum Electric Marine unit has a five-year parts warranty (for land-based applications only). Crucially, the owner is responsible for all labor, service, removal, re-installation, and shipping costs associated with the warranty claim.
