Description

The Bromic Affinity Smart-Heat Dimmer Controller (5 Channel) is built for large residential and commercial installations, letting you set the heat output of five independent zones of Bromic electric heaters in 1% steps. It works with Platinum Electric, Tungsten Electric and Cobalt Electric heaters. It is not compatible with gas heaters; for gas, use the Affinity On/Off Controller.

App Control and Automation
Built-in 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connect the controller to the Bromic Heating app, with dimming, scenes, timers, schedules, Amazon Alexa and Google Home compatibility, and multi-site management. The Expansion Board comes built in, adding Ethernet and 0-10V connections for home or building management systems.

Capacity and Installation
Each channel controls up to 6kW (30kW total) on a 3-phase supply: 120/208V, 220/380V, 230/400V, 240/415V or 277/480V. The IP54-rated enclosure ships with a key for access and is suitable for covered outdoor locations. Installation must be completed by a licensed electrician.

The Bromic Heating Limited Warranty is applicable only to the original owner and is restricted to the replacement of the heater or a failed component part. Coverage periods vary by product, with most heaters and controllers covered for one year of parts, while the Platinum Electric Marine unit has a five-year parts warranty (for land-based applications only). Crucially, the owner is responsible for all labor, service, removal, re-installation, and shipping costs associated with the warranty claim.
